Terms of use
What to know before you book a video consultation.
Last updated: October 10, 2026
The service
VisioMédecin is a private medical clinic offering video consultations in Quebec. By booking a consultation, you accept these terms.
Not for emergencies
The service is not suitable for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
The medical decision
The doctor decides whether your request is suitable for a virtual consultation. They may refer you to an in-person consultation or another service. No outcome is guaranteed: a prescription, attestation or certificate is only issued if the doctor considers it medically justified.
Your booking
You book without creating an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use an email address and phone number you check.
- You receive a confirmation email as soon as you book.
- The video invitation reaches you through Google Calendar once a doctor is assigned to your appointment.
- The clinic may move an appointment for scheduling reasons; Google Calendar then notifies you.
Cancellation
You can cancel your appointment at any time with the cancellation link in your confirmation email. The link is personal: do not share it.
Fees
Each service's price is shown on the site, in Canadian dollars. The site takes no payment: fees are settled directly with the clinic.
The video consultation
The consultation takes place on Google Meet. Plan for a quiet, private place, a stable Internet connection and a device with a camera and a microphone.
Your information
How we handle your personal information is described in our privacy policy.
General information
The content of the site's public pages is general information and is not medical advice. Only a doctor can assess your situation.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. For any question, write to us at [email protected].
